Job Description:
Regeneron's Immunology and Inflammation group, located in
Tarrytown, NY is looking for an energetic Sr Associate Scientist to
join a highly collaborative team working in autoimmunity and/or
allergy, B cell biology and disease models driven by pathogenic
antibodies. A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like: Conduct
experiments, predominantly of basic immunology and basic lab
techniques Working with mice and administering care of mice using
general surgical techniques; collection of blood and tissue samples
Performing in vitro assays such as ELISAs, MSD, cell-based assays
or flow cytometry-based experiments. Troubleshooting methodological
and technical issues Interpreting experimental data and literature,
and communicating results to supervisor, department, or project
team Contributing to the maintenance of innovative laboratory
equipment maintenance and ordering supplies/reagents to help create
a safe, effective and efficient working environment Aiding project
advancement by developing new methods or technologies This Role
Might Be For You If You: Are proficient with handling and care of
mice, general surgical techniques, and the collection of blood and
tissue samples Excel at maintaining accurate and complete records
Thrive working in a team-driven environment Possess exceptional
organizational skills and communicate openly and frequently with
manager and team members This role requires BS/MS with 1-4 years of
relevant experience in inflammation, allergy, autoimmunity or mouse
models. Ability to analyze data and interpret results of
experiments within the context of research project goals and work
closely with supervisor to prepare and deliver effective oral
presentations and papers in the area of expertise during internal
and external meetings a plus. Experience with animal handling/
injections, ELISA, MSD and/or Luminex, cell-based assays and flow
cytometryis preferred. Experience in using GraphPad Prism, SoftMax
Pro, FACS, FlowJo or Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) Discovery Workbench
software is preferred. Basic computer and experience collecting and
analyzing biological data on the computer is a necessity. Does this
