Job Description:
Quality Technician III Job Summary: Talent Software Services is
in search of a Quality Technician III for a contract position in
Marlborough, MA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong
chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: Responsible for
testing, calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining various types of
measuring and indicating instruments. Duties include setting up
calibration sequences, methods, and procedures based on detailed
specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Monitor and
verify quality according to statistical process or other control
procedures. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Identify and
utilize appropriate measurement procedures. Perform corrective
actions to address identified measurement issues. Adapt equipment,
standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
Maintain calibration standards. Ensure the calibration laboratory
is maintained. Interface with customers to determine support
requirements. Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with
required procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and
quality requirements. Generate Calibration Investigation Forms
(CIF) to monitor the quality of calibration equipment. Evaluate new
calibration methods and procedures. Build quality into all aspects
of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
Qualifications: AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a
related discipline and 3 years of related experience. Functional
Knowledge: Applies solid knowledge of the job and applies skills
and knowledge in a range of business/customer/technical processes,
procedures, and systems to perform a range of activities and work
assignments. Business Expertise: Uses knowledge of how the team
integrates with others to accomplish assigned work and team
objectives. Leadership: Provides informal guidance and support to
more junior team members. Problem Solving: Recognizes, defines, and
solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without
supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from existing
precedents and proven processes and may suggest alternatives.
Impact: Impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the
team; uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to
achieve results or improve efficiency. Interactions (and
