Job Description:
Our client, a leading life sciences company , is looking for a
Technical Writer – Life Science. This is for an initial duration of
6 months and is located in Marlborough, MA. Job Type: Contract
(Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)
The top must haves: 1) Good, flexible writing ability; writing to
style guidelines and create engaging content with agreed messaging
and keywords from the brief. 2) A good scientific background
(ideally life sciences) to enable the interpretation of SME input
and to identify messaging that helps bridge the technical
information with the goals of the content. The successful candidate
would be expected to have the following experience: · Scientific
writing, content writing, marketing copywriter – preferably with
experience of writing in the life sciences · A degree in the life
sciences, e.g. biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology,
immunology, or microbiology · Documented experience from writing
and editing scientific articles, blogs, white papers, application
notes, case studies, or other educational content in a scientific
subject · Experience from an academic research environment or
experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred.
