Job Description:
Regeneron is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Senior
Scientist to join our Protein Biochemistry team. In this exciting
role, you will play a critical part in implementing innovative
biophysical assessment strategies to support a wide range of drug
candidate modalities. This position will also provide matrix based
support for the characterization of novel modalities such as gene
therapy agents and oligonucleotides as well as complex therapeutic
strategies and approaches. A Typical Day Might Include: Design,
develop, and execute biophysical assays supporting developability
assessment at different stages of lead characterization. Understand
current computational biophysics approaches (workflows, software)
for in silico modeling of surface properties of antibody-like
molecules for in silico profiling. Serve as a representative of our
department on cross-functional teams with accountability for
biophysical characterization. Contribute results & analysis for
protein or new modality characterization to provide molecular
profiles and developability assessments of therapeutic assets, that
support the pipeline, in a timely manner and aligned with partner
functions Recommending, adapting and developing analytical methods
for protein characterization Review the literature and works with
their team to design experiments that solve biophysical problems
for key partners. Supervise and support scientists with critical
data review as well as career development. This Role Might Be for

independently learning new methods and software Possess excellent
written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare
slides and author reports and manuscripts for internal and external
presentations, communicating biophysical results to both technical
and general audiences. To be considered for this opportunity, you
must have the following: Ph.D. , MS or BS or equivalent degree in
biophysics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, chemical
engineering or related field with PhD, 0-3, MS 8, BS 10 years
proven experience in characterization of therapeutic protein
candidates. Experience developing and troubleshooting analytical
methods. Experience with statistical and experimental design,
molecular modeling, graphing and mathematical analysis softwares is
a plus. In-depth knowledge of and demonstrated expertise operating
biophysical and biochemical techniques such as Light Scattering,
Analytical Chromatography (SEC, HIC, IEX), Differential Scanning
Fluorescence and/or Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Raman, ROA,
and/or FTIR spectroscopy, Analytical Ultracentrifugation, Bilayer
Interferometry, and Electrospray Mass Spectrometry. In-silico

- $176,700.00
