Job Description:

At Liro Group, an industry leader enhancing urban infrastructure, we are currently seeking a meticulous Firestop Inspector to join our Quality Assurance & Testing team. This role involves comprehensive inspections of firestopping systems installed in various construction projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. You will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of fire safety measures in our diverse portfolio of projects, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and technological innovation in the construction sector. Inspect and evaluate the installation of firestopping systems to ensure accordance with the applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications. Document inspection findings and produce detailed reports outlining the adequacy and deficiencies of the firestop systems. Educate and advise construction teams on the proper installation techniques and standards for firestopping materials. Collaborate with project managers and other QA inspectors to discuss and review project specifications and fire protection system requirements. Participate in quality assurance audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and safety protocols. Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire protection technology and changes in codes and standards. Strong knowledge of firestop systems and materials, and their application in construction. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and fire safety plans. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Firestop Inspector certification from the International Firestop Council (IFC) or equivalent. OSHA Construction Safety Certification.
