to the best of my knowledge. Job Description Risk Management, Organ
Toxicity and Benefit Risk Center of Excellence (RiMOT&BR CoE)
is part of the Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance (PSPV)
department and plays a critical role in advising product teams
concerning theoretical, potential or identified risks for medicinal
product under development or on the market PSPV ensures the safety
of patients within clinical trials and after the medicinal product
is marketed which is the RiMOT& BR CoE responsibility to ensure the
benefits of the medicinal product outweigh the risks to the
patient. RiMOT&BR works across product teams, cross
functionally, and world-wide to optimize the benefit risk profile
of each product and ensuring the safety of the patient. The intern
will work within the risk management and organ toxicity areas to
evaluate the global strategies compared to the various local
operating company (LOC) strategies. LOCs are the part of the
business that are located around the world covering either a region
or specific country requirements. The intern will help investigate
to identify trends within and between LOCs as well as help with the
strategy to optimize efforts globally. How You Will Contribute
Analyze Takeda local risk management strategies against global risk
management strategy Identify trends in risk management and organ
toxicity activities across countries and/or regions Make
recommendations based on analysis findings and present
recommendations Perform literature searches for relevant risk
management and organ toxicity related topics such as evaluation of
risk evaluation and mitigation strategies and additional risk
minimization measures, useability testing of prescriber/patient
educational materials, implementation sciences, etc. Create
educational training resources and journal clubs under the
direction of supervisor Provide operational support for the Risk
Management and Organ Toxicity Center of Excellence such as meeting
scheduling, completion and distribution of minutes, etc. Perform
other duties as defined in standard operation procedures or
requested by supervisor Internship Development Opportunities The
intern will gain a deep understanding on patient safety and the
appropriate regulatory guidances The intern will collaborate with
other PV related stakeholders both internal (e.g., Product teams,
Local Operating Companies) and externally (e.g., Consortia) The
intern will be mentored in planning and executing milestones
contributing to PV project successes The intern will gain
experience with global regulatory requirements surrounding good
pharmacovigilance practices during audit/inspection preparation and
execution Job Requirements Graduate student: PhD, MD, PharmD with
completion of a minimum of one year of university studies. This
position will be remote Internship Eligibility Must be authorized
to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring
sponsorship Must be currently enrolled in a degree program
graduating December 2026 or later The internship program is 10-12
weeksdepending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14th or June
15th - August 21st) The intern must be able to commit to one of
these time frames Able to work full time 40 hours a week during
internship dates Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or
relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program Program

Location: USA - MA - Cambridge - Kendall Square - 500 U.S. Hourly
Wage Range: $21.00 - $46.00 The estimated hourly range reflects an
anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered
will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered
following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered
will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements
for the job location. U.S. internship benefits vary by location and
may include: Paid sick time Civic Duty paid time off Participation
