Job Title: AI Agent Development in Non-Clinical Biostatistical
Research Fall Co-op Location: Cambridge, MA About the Job Join the

inviting applications for a Fall 2026 co-op focused on developing
AI agents to support innovation in non-clinical biostatistical
research. This internship will be co-supervised by experts from
both the Non-Clinical Efficacy & Safety Statistics team and Digital
R&D, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection
of data science, artificial intelligence, and pharmaceutical

people’s lives. Main Responsibilities: Design, prototype, and
evaluate AI agents to enhance automation and decision-making in
non-clinical workflows Collaborate with statisticians and digital
scientists to identify impactful use cases and integrate AI
solutions into research pipelines Document development processes
and present findings to cross-functional teams About You Basic
Qualifications: Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor ’ s
degree or master's in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related
field at an accredited college or university with the expectation
that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 202 7
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout
the duration of the co-op/internship Must be able to relocate to
the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the
full duration of the co-op/internship Must be permanently
authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an
employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of
application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or
STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term
employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless
eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require
company sponsorship Hands-on experience building AI agents,
including multi-agent systems or agent orchestration frameworks
Familiarity with concepts such as Model Context Protocol (MCP)
servers and integrating agents with chat-based interfaces (e.g.,
Claude Code, OpenAI Assistants) for scientific querying Proficiency
in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch,
TensorFlow, LangChain , Hugging Face Transformers) Preferred
Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work
independently and collaboratively Interest in biomedical research,
