As a CDL Driver- Environmental Field Chemist at Clean Harbors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant transportation and analysis of hazardous materials, while contributing to our mission of creating a safer and cleaner environment. This position combines the skills of a CDL driver with the technical knowledge of a field chemist, providing a unique opportunity to work on the front lines of environmental protection. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Perform field chemical analysis and classification of waste materials Prepare and maintain transport documentation and logs Ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of assigned vehicle Comply with all safety protocols and procedures during waste handling and transport Participate in emergency response spill cleanup operations as needed Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction Safe driving and operation of heavy vehicles Knowledgeable in hazardous material handling and disposal Ability to perform basic field chemical analyses Strong organizational and documentation skills Proficiency in emergency response and spill cleanup procedures Excellent communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) certification DOT/IATA certification preferred
