Position Summary Due to an immediate and significant increase in referrals, we actively seeking a compassionate, flexible, and client-focused Outpatient Clinician to join our growing, inclusive team in a newly renovated space . This full-time, fee-for-service role reports to the Clinical Director and includes opportunities for bonuses. The clinician will provide affirming, developmentally appropriate, and evidence-based mental health services to clients across the lifespan, within a values-driven practice that prioritizes diversity, inclusion, and strong clinician support. A willingness to maintain afternoon availability and some evenings required for seeing children/adolescents who attend school during day hours. Key Responsibilities Provide client-centered and culturally responsive individual therapy to a wide range of clients Engage clients, families, and caregivers in treatment planning and psychoeducation Conduct developmentally informed biopsychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions tailored to each client Respond to crises with empathy, prioritizing safety and stabilization Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation Collaborate with schools, pediatricians, and other providers to ensure coordinated care Participate in individual supervision, case consultation, and team collaboration Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and regulatory requirements Provide timely, developmentally appropriate communication to both clients and families Qualifications Required: Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Independent licensure (or license eligible) in Massachusetts: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent Experience providing therapy to a wide range of clientele Strong foundation in evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills Proficiency with EHR and clinical documentation Preferred: Training or certification in child/adolescent-focused modalities (e.g., play therapy, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, parent coaching) Experience collaborating with schools and pediatric providers Why Verge Therapy?: A Culture That Cares At Verge, we know that supported therapists create better outcomes for clients.
