Position: Collections Specialist Location: Mount Kisco, NY Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 A growing organization is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will play a key role in ensuring the company maintains a healthy cash flow by proactively managing accounts receivable and following up with clients. Key Responsibilities: Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts Contact clients via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances Research and resolve billing discrepancies Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and client communications Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off, as needed Assist with cash application and reconciliation as needed Qualifications: 2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit & collections Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail
