Friday-Monday, 12:30pm-11pm Experience: Minimum 2 years required
Role Overview: The Medical Imaging Technologist performs technical
imaging procedures and assists with the clinical care and
evaluation of patients under the direction of the Medical Director,
Section Head, manager, and Radiologist. This role requires strong
modality-specific skills to produce diagnostic images while
providing patients with a safe and positive experience. - Ensures
compliance with radiation safety measures per New York State
Department of Health Code Part 16 - Supports ongoing learning and
may assist with teaching as technologies evolve - Provides care
appropriate to patient age and individual needs Required
Qualifications: - Associate of Applied Science degree - Diploma in
X-Ray or graduate of an approved imaging program - ARRT Registered
(required upon hire) - New York State radiologic technologist
registration or limited permit (required upon hire) - BLS (AHA)
certification required - Maintains competent imaging skills in
primary modality - Minimum 2 years of Medical Imaging/Radiology
