Hourly Positions with a designated work location in New York City,
Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a
$4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time

Responsibilities Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System
(PRAMS) is an ongoing mail/telephone survey of residents who have
recently given birth to a live-born infant. The PRAMS project is
used to collect information from residents about behaviors and
experiences before, during, and after pregnancy. The goal of the
PRAMS project is to provide information to support research and
guide policy changes and interventions that improve maternal and
infant health and reduce adverse outcomes such as infant low birth
weight and maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. PRAMS phone
interviews with respondents are essential to maintaining survey
response rates and obtaining quality data. The Hourly Interviewer I
will be responsible for performing phone interviewing; assisting
with interviewing operations including coordinating with PRAMS
staff to schedule and carry out interview appointments; performing
data entry and survey validation activities; and assisting with
survey mailing activities and preparing documents for IRB protocol
maintenance. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience in
customer service, call center, administrative support, or a related
field. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing clerical
and/or administrative support. Experience and/or training in
handling confidential and sensitive information. Experience with MS
Office. Experience in survey data collection and entry. Experience
with IRB or research study protocols. Prior experience with
phone-based customer service or telephone interviewing. Fluency in
English and Spanish, to perform interviewing. Conditions of
Employment Hourly, grant funded position expected to last through
03/30/2027. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and
effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is
required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting
distance of the official work location specified in the job posting
and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the
following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or
Massachusetts, prior to hire. This position is eligible for a
hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote work.
This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours,

Expectations At HRI, the nature of hybrid and onsite work varies by
position. Some roles require full onsite presence, while others
allow a hybrid schedule. Managers determine the specific
telecommuting expectations for each role based on operational needs
and job responsibilities. If designated as hybrid, you will divide
your time between working remotely and reporting onsite. Regardless
of telecommuting status, all HRI employees must live within a
reasonable commuting distance of their official work location and
must reside in one of the following states: New York, New Jersey,
Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Vermont.
